What is BioEnergetic Assessment?
BioEnergetic Assessment (BEA), also known as a Meridian Stress Assessment or Electro Acupuncture According to Voll, is a non-invasive, computer-based system designed to measure the energetic health of specific organs and systems using acupuncture points on the hands and feet.
How does it work?
Founded by German medical doctor and acupuncturist, Dr. Reinhold Voll, BEA works with the body’s natural electro-magnetic field, known as “meridians” in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Though this may sound unconventional, the technology works in a similar fashion to an EKG. They both measure the electrical activity of your organs.
Health imbalances may present themselves in the electromagnetic field long before they manifest as physical symptoms, which is what makes BEA so valuable as part of a holistic lifestyle.
BEA also takes the guesswork out of natural health protocols, by allowing your practitioner to pin point exactly what your body needs to restore energy.
What to Expect 
After identifying your goals and completing a thorough health history, your practitioner will ask you to hold a small metal ground in your hand (it looks like a small iron rod) while she gently taps specific acupuncture points on your hands and feet using a stylus-type pen.
As she takes your energetic readings, you will see your results appear on a large monitor.
There are no needles used, there is no puncturing of the skin, and ZERO PAIN. All you feel is the gentle tap of the pen on your hands and feet.
The test takes about an hour, and you are free to ask questions throughout.
